Senior Full Stack QA Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Full Stack QA Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Senior Full Stack QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

- Hands-on QE/SDET who combines software-development skills with strong quality-engineering practices and can contribute automation code alongside developers throughout the software development lifecycle
- Design and develop scalable test automation using Playwright/C# or Playwright/Typescript
- Automate testing of REST APIs, microservices, and service-to-service integrations
- Validate JSON/XML, data flows, contracts, and asynchronous/event-driven workflows
- Validate Azure-based applications using Blob Storage, Application Insights, logs, etc.
- Build automated functional, integration, contract, end-to-end, reliability, and API security coverage
- Integrate automated tests and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployments
- Collaborate with developers to shift quality left across unit, component, API, contract, integration, and system testing
- Use Claude Code or equivalent AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test design, automation, debugging, and refactoring
- Ability to validate applications handling large datasets, including pagination, filtering, sorting, searching, virtualization/lazy loading, and large-data rendering
- Work with accessibility testing, including WCAG-focused validation and tools such as Axe
- Using browser developer tools, network traces, logs, and application telemetry to diagnose UI and performance issues

Requirements:

- Strong proficiency in Playwright/C# or Playwright/Typescript, modern .NET
- Strong experience with REST API and microservices testing/automation
- Experience with Postman/Newman, HttpClient, RestSharp, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of JSON, XML, OOP, design principles, and architectural patterns
- Experience testing event-driven and asynchronous systems
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Service Bus, Blob Storage, and Application Insights
- Experience with Azure CI/CD, Docker, Git, and JIRA
- Experience with Claude Code or similar AI coding assistants is desirable
- Strong experience testing highly responsive, dynamic, data-intensive web applications across multiple browsers and screen sizes
- Hands-on experience developing scalable and reusable UI automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright/Typescript, Selenium, or Cypress, preferably with C#/.NET where applicable
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing, validating functionality and rendering across Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and supported browser/device configurations
- Strong understanding of testing dynamic UI behavior
- Experience validating UI performance and responsiveness, including page/component load behavior, rendering performance, network latency, and client-side bottlenecks
- Ability to validate applications handling large datasets, including pagination, filtering, sorting, searching, virtualization/lazy loading, and large-data rendering
