PROJECT MANAGER

LOCATION: Barcelona, Spain

REPORTING TO: Programme Director

---

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM

Working in close partnership with a leading European pet care client (part of a major international food group), the Project Manager leads projects from discovery and concept through to final delivery, providing the strategic control, structure, and momentum required to produce world-class creative work.

Embedded within our dedicated on-site agency hub in Barcelona, you will manage end-to-end delivery across four of the client's flagship pet care brands. Initially working with the client's Global Brand Teams, you will drive delivery across brand strategy, conceptual campaigns, and global master toolkits, ensuring our creative teams have the clarity and runway they need to deliver exceptional output.

Building trusted relationships with client brand managers, creative teams, strategists, and external production partners, the Project Manager is the central orchestrator of project health, timelines, resource allocation, and deliverable quality.

---

WHAT IS REQUIRED

- End-to-end project delivery: Direct projects from initial briefing and discovery workshops through conceptual ideation, review cycles, and final toolkit delivery, ensuring clear communication of milestones, dependencies, and deadlines.

- Process & ways of working: Partner with the client and internal leadership to embed best-practice agency workflows, discovery frameworks, and agile delivery rituals (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retro sessions).

- Resource & capacity management: Manage resource allocation across cross-functional creative, strategic, and production teams, forecasting capacity and identifying when hub or freelance support is required to meet demand.

- Scope & financial tracking: Monitor project run rates, hours, and burn rates against approved Scopes of Work (SOW), proactively identifying scope creep and managing change requests.

- Global master toolkits: Oversee the packaging, asset structuring, and delivery of global brand guidelines and master creative toolkits for seamless future handoff to local market teams.

- Client & stakeholder communication: Act as the operational day-to-day contact for the client's Global Brand Managers, running productive kick-offs, status meetings, and weekly WIP reviews.

- SLA & quality governance: Ensure all deliverables meet client brand guidelines, agreed SLAs, and the highest standards of craft before leaving the studio.

---

WHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE

- Experience: 4-6+ years of integrated project management experience within a top-tier creative, advertising, or dedicated/in-house agency environment.

- Campaign & deliverable scope: Proven experience managing global master toolkits, conceptual campaigns, and integrated creative assets across:

ATL, Digital & Social

- Motion Graphics & Video

- Print & Packaging / POS

- Brand Guidelines & Toolkits

- Sector knowledge: Experience working with FMCG, CPG, or Pet Care/Food brands is strongly preferred.

- Agile & hybrid methodologies: Skilled in applying both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project management frameworks to creative workflows.

- Client engagement: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence timelines, set clear expectations, and navigate complex matrixed client environments.

- Financial acumen: Comfortable managing project budgets and burn reports, and tracking time and resource expenditure against SOWs.

- Tools & software: High proficiency with project management and collaboration platforms (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Jira, Smartsheet), MS Office, and digital asset management tools.

- Languages: Professional working fluency in Spanish and English is essential, as you will work with global teams.
