Our company

GLS is a boutique firm specialized in life sciences, providing
strategy consulting and transaction advisory services to established and
emerging biotech, pharma and medtech companies, as well as to their investors.
We are rapidly growing and looking to expand our team with talented professionals

Role

Your primary role as an analyst will include
research, data analysis, modeling, and the preparation of presentation
material. You might research the benefits of innovative diagnostic technology,
map the competitive landscape for a drug, model investment scenarios, or
prepare an investor pitch. You will also be involved in discussions with
prospective clients and in developing commercial proposals.
Our work spans sciences, business
strategy, and finance. We work in multidisciplinary teams involving experienced
senior advisors and external experts. You will work under the guidance of your
Engagement Manager and interact very frequently with the senior leaders of the
firm. You will also be in contact with our clients, who are executives,
entrepreneurs, and investors in the life sciences industry.

We create an individualized training and development plan for
each team member reflecting their career objective. Depending on your
interests, this role could be shaped into a steppingstone for a career in
strategy consulting, investment banking, the biopharma industry, or life
sciences startups. If you have the necessary accreditations or acquire them as
part of your training program, you may also become an Investment Banking
Representative affiliated with our partner firm Galileo Global Securities.

Requirements

We seek highly talented people who have the potential to learn
and grow with the following qualifications:

- A degree in business, engineering, sciences,
or economics from a leading academic institution
- ​2+ years of professional experience
- Curious, and flexible individuals who strive
in an entrepreneurial environment
- Interested in bridging science and business to
address a mix of strategy, finance, and transaction problems
- Strong analytical and technical skills,
including proficiency in Excel, data analysis and/or programming tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication
skills
