Join our seasonal team at Point Nine for the busy holiday season! We are hiring Servers to help create exceptional dining experiences during one of the most exciting times of the year. Flexible scheduling is available, and we can work around holiday commitments, school breaks, and other seasonal obligations.
This position is ideal for individuals seeking seasonal employment during the winter months, including college students home for break, teachers on holiday vacation, or anyone looking for extra income throughout the holiday season. Strong performers may have the opportunity to continue with us in a part-time role after the seasonal period ends.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to all guests
- Guide guests through menu selections and answer questions about food and beverage offerings
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments
- Ensure food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections and service areas
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Help create a warm, welcoming, and memorable holiday experience for guests
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented approach with a willingness to help others
- Prior serving, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- At least 18 years of age
Schedule & Availability
- Part-time seasonal employment during the winter holiday season (approximately November through January)
- Day, evening, and weekend shifts available
- Availability during peak holiday periods, including weekends and select holidays, is preferred
- Opportunity for continued part-time employment after the holiday season for interested team members
