Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Service Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Responds to and services Burg /CCTV and small access service calls, as requested by the Service Manager or his/her designate

- Apply solutions to system problems by either troubleshooting the system or advising the customer how to resolve the problem

- Solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision

- Provides status on service calls to management and recommends actions

- Communicates with the customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Continuous proactive customer interactions including an in-depth understanding of customer (s) needs, wants and systems currently in place

- Perform self-study (reading, research, and practice) to obtain technical proficiency on required products and applications

- Reports complete and accurate information on the service tickets

- Work independently and seek guidance when necessary

- Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent, plus two (2) years of technical school, electronics training or equivalent military training

- Security clearance

- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certifications in specific panel types for Burg and CCTV and Access

The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00–$35.00 per hour . The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
