- Test UPS systems, electrical assemblies, controls, breakers, current transformers (CTs), communication components, and related electronic systems to verify proper performance.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, electrical drawings, bills of material, and test documentation to execute test plans accurately.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve wiring, electrical, mechanical, and functional issues discovered during testing, escalating when necessary.
- Perform AC/DC circuit analysis to validate proper system operation and confirm that electrical parameters meet specifications.
- Use appropriate electrical test equipment, including voltmeters, multimeters, continuity testers, hipot testers, ground bond testers, and power meters, to diagnose and verify system performance.
- Upload firmware, download parameters, configure control panels, and support electronic component setup as required by engineering documentation.
- Set up and verify protective relays, breakers, controls, sensors, meters, communication modules, and related devices according to engineering documents or vendor manuals.
- Accurately document test results, defects, rework activities, and quality findings in digital test-documentation systems and other required records.
- Escalate test failures, drawing concerns, and quality issues to Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or supervision in a timely and clear manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area consistent with 5S and Lean manufacturing practices, following all plant safety guidelines.
- Support continuous-improvement efforts related to testing processes, quality performance, first-pass yield, cycle time, and overall productivity.
- Perform equipment commissioning testing to verify electrical function and readiness for operation.
- Follow electrical safety requirements, test procedures, quality standards, lockout/tagout processes, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements at all times.
- Work flexibly around production and assembly schedules to meet testing needs and support manufacturing timelines.
- Work independently once trained, managing daily tasks and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing and electrical-test environment.
- Travel occasionally between the West Chester and Fairfield facilities as testing and business needs require.

- Strong working knowledge of AC/DC electrical circuits and 3-phase electrical systems.
- Proficiency using electrical test equipment such as voltmeters, multimeters, continuity testers, hipot testers, ground bond testers, and power meters.
- Ability to perform AC/DC circuit analysis and validate proper system operation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for wiring, electrical, mechanical, and functional issues.
- Ability to document test results, defects, rework, and quality findings clearly and accurately.
- Effective communication skills to escalate issues and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and supervision.
- Ability to follow detailed test procedures, electrical safety requirements, quality standards, lockout/tagout processes, and PPE requirements.
- Ability to work independently once trained and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as business needs require.
- Flexibility to work around production and assembly schedules as testing needs require.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
