Would creating innovative concept designs for some of the energy industry’s most challenging applications excite you?
Join our Well Systems Tender Engineering Team
We take energy forward, making it safer, cleaner and more efficient for people and the planet. We design, manufacture, install and service transformative technologies that help solve some of the world’s most complex energy challenges.
With a comprehensive portfolio spanning some of the most challenging subsea developments worldwide, Baker Hughes delivers integrated systems and products that enable innovative subsea solutions.
Partner with the best as a Senior Subsea Designer supporting on Subsea Production Systems front-end engineering and tenders .
As a Senior Subsea Designer within the Well Systems Tender and Front End Engineering team , focusing on Subsea Trees, Tubing Hangers and associated Tooling, you will play a key role in transforming customer requirements and early engineering concepts into clear, credible concept designs that underpin competitive tender submissions.
Working alongside tender engineers, product line specialists and other business functions, you will generate concept designs, develop complex 3D CAD models, assemblies and layouts that support front-end engineering design and tender activity. While your primary focus will be Well Systems equipment, you will also support the EPC Systems level and have the opportunity to support other Subsea Product Lines. - Generate concept designs, 3D CAD models and assemblies for Subsea Trees, Tubing Hangers and associated Tooling in support of front-end engineering design and tenders.
- Convert customer requirements and engineering concepts into practical, feasible and manufacturable design solutions that can be clearly communicated in tender submissions.
- Produce concept layouts, general arrangement drawings and supporting technical illustrations for tender documentation in line with engineering and company standards.
- Perform interference checks, envelope and fit assessments, and early-stage design evaluations to ensure concepts are robust and credible.
- Collaborate with tender engineers, product line specialists and project teams to develop and refine concepts from initial customer enquiry through to tender submission.
