- Provide leadership over regulatory reporting across key subject-matter areas, ensuring processes, controls, and change management workflows are well-managed, governed, and demonstrable to regulatory agencies and internal lines of defense.
- Lead the preparation and review of schedules produced for the FFIEC 031 (Call Report), FR Y-9C, FR Y-9LP, FR Y-15, and other significant regulatory filings.
- Engage in and contribute to enterprise-wide data transformation, automation, process enhancement, and control opportunities as regulatory reporting transitions toward its target state.
- Support the development and delivery of executive presentations and detailed analytical packages that facilitate governance, process execution, and management reporting for senior leadership.
- Enhance reconciliations and analytics to ensure the consistency, completeness, and accuracy of data submitted and reported to regulators and the public.
- Research accounting treatments and reporting requirements to support complex business transactions and prepare responses to inquiries from management and regulators regarding reporting, variances, and process controls.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with key internal partners and upstream data providers to proactively assess trends, products, and systemic changes that impact data sourcing, analysis, and regulatory reporting.
- Drive issue resolution by collaborating closely with accounting, treasury, and technology partners, escalating risks and reporting progress and next steps to management when necessary.
