What You’ll Do

· Administer the ServiceNow platform, including users, groups, roles, ACLs, and access controls.

· Configure and optimize forms, lists, workflows, business rules, and the service catalog to support scalable operations.

· Develop and maintain ServiceNow scripts and automation using GlideRecord, Business Rules, and Script Includes.

· Lead upgrade and patch planning, testing, validation, and release readiness across instances.

· Own CMDB administration, data quality, and service catalog design to improve service visibility and request fulfillment.

· Troubleshoot complex platform issues, analyze patterns, and drive long-term remediation and automation opportunities.

· Maintain clear configuration, compliance, and audit-ready documentation.

· Collaborate cross-functionally to support change readiness, platform resilience, and continuous improvement.

Basic Requirements

· 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow administration, platform engineering, or enterprise application administration.

· Hands-on experience with ServiceNow core administration, including users, roles, groups, and ACLs.

· Experience configuring ServiceNow forms, lists, workflows, and service catalog items.

· Strong scripting experience in ServiceNow, including GlideRecord, Business Rules, and Script Includes.

· Experience supporting platform upgrades, patching, test planning, and release validation.

· Experience administering CMDB and improving configuration data quality.

· Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Skills/Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

· Experience in regulated, compliance-driven enterprise environments.

· Familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, service mapping, asset management, or related ServiceNow modules.(Suggestion based on the ServiceNow-focused rewrite; not explicitly stated in the source.)

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.   In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
