Position Purpose

Good Medicine. Great Relationships. A Team Worth Joining! 🐾

Animal Hospital of University Drive-Sunrise, FL

What makes a great veterinary practice? Sometimes it's as simple as good people, clients who trust you, and the freedom to practice medicine the way you believe it should be practiced.

We've been caring for pets and their families for over 30 years, and we're pretty proud of the relationships we've built along the way!

Now we're looking for an experienced Associate Veterinarian who enjoys great medicine, teamwork, and making a difference in the lives of pets and their people.

Why you'll love it here:

• Your Medicine, Your Way: The freedom to use your experience and clinical judgment to provide thoughtful, individualized care.

• Clients Who Stick Around: Over 30 years of trusted relationships with pets and their families.

• A Team That Cares: High-energy, eager-to-learn support staff, including team members who've been here for over a decade.

• Flexibility That Fits: Flexible scheduling, no on-call, and some Saturday shifts.

• The Tools to Get It Done: Digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house IDEXX diagnostics.

• A Voice That Matters: Bring your ideas and experience as we continue making improvements and growing together.

• Using your clinical experience to develop treatment plans that consider both the pet's needs and the client's circumstances.

• Collaborating with a supportive team that values communication and teamwork.

• Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring a positive experience for pets and their people.

Requirements/Qualifications

What Makes You a Great Fit?

• You're an experienced veterinarian with a DVM degree and an active Florida state veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one).

• You're confident practicing independently and performing routine surgical procedures.

• You understand that great medicine means balancing the needs of pets with what works for their families.

• You enjoy building relationships with clients and helping them feel heard and informed.

• You're a team player who brings a positive attitude, fresh ideas, and a passion for veterinary medicine
