About this role
Primary Responsibilities
- Fill propane cylinders and tanks according to safety regulations and company procedures
- Inspect tanks for damage, leaks, or expired certification dates
- Operate propane dispensing equipment and pumps
- Weigh tanks before and after filling to ensure proper levels
- Maintain accurate records of propane sales and inventory
- Provide customer service (answer questions, assist with tank exchanges, etc.)
- Follow all safety standards, including fire prevention and hazardous material handling
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Attention to detail and strong safety awareness
- Ability to follow procedures precisely
- Good customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift and move tanks
Qualifications
- Must pass drug test
- Must pass background check
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
