NHC HealthCare Oakwood is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis!

Position Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established standards of care.
- Assess, monitor, and document patients' respiratory status and treatment progress.
- Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and therapies.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to support individualized patient care.
- Ensure compliance with patient rights, center policies, and applicable healthcare regulations.
- Maintain respiratory therapy equipment and follow appropriate safety and infection control procedures.
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.
- Strong attention to detail, patience, and professionalism.
- Genuine compassion for elderly and disabled individuals in a long-term care setting.
- Commitment to patient rights, safety, and quality care.
