About the Opportunity / A Day in the Life:

This is a part-time family therapy role of 15-20 hours per week. You and the practice agree on the days and hours that work for you, and then hold them as a consistent weekly schedule, so your week is predictable for you and for the families on your caseload.

Most of your time is spent doing the clinical work itself: family sessions, the treatment planning and documentation that go with them, and steady communication with parents and caregivers about goals and progress. One commitment is fixed - the treatment team meeting on Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. in Scottsdale, where the clinical team talks through cases together. That meeting is the only standing on-site requirement on the schedule.

The practice is looking for a clinician who genuinely likes family work - someone who is comfortable holding a room with several people in it, who can keep parents and caregivers engaged, and who wants colleagues to think out loud with every week rather than carrying a caseload alone.

Why This Role Stands Out:

- A genuinely part-time clinical role at 15-20 hours per week - built to stay part-time, not a full-time schedule in disguise.
- Flexible days and hours: you help set the schedule, then keep it consistent week to week.
- One standing on-site commitment. The rest of the week is arranged around your availability.
- Pay that recognizes independent licensure, with a clearly defined band for associate-level clinicians as well.
- A weekly treatment team meeting built into the role, so collaboration is scheduled rather than hoped for.
- No travel and no on-call.

What We're Looking For:

- An actively licensed Arizona behavioral health clinician: LMFT, LAMFT, LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LAC.
- A therapist who genuinely enjoys family therapy and wants it to be the core of the work.
- A professional, positive presence who fits well with a close-knit clinical team.
- Dependable availability for a consistent weekly schedule.
- Someone who can be on-site in Scottsdale for the Wednesday 11:00 a.m. treatment team meeting.
- Clear, steady communication with families and colleagues alike.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide family therapy sessions to the families on your caseload.
- Develop and update treatment plans and goals in collaboration with the clinical team.
- Communicate with parents and caregivers about treatment goals, progress, and next steps.
- Attend and contribute to the weekly treatment team meeting.
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and on time.
- Coordinate care with other members of the treatment team as appropriate.
- Practice within the scope of your licence and maintain it in good standing.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
- Hold a consistent weekly schedule and give advance notice of any changes to your availability.
- Raise clinical concerns promptly with the treatment team.
- Contribute to a professional, positive team culture.

Required Qualifications:

- Active Arizona licensure as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC).
- Availability for a consistent weekly schedule of 15-20 hours.
- Ability to be on-site in Scottsdale on Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. for the treatment team meeting.
- Accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Professional, clear communication with families and colleagues.
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

This Role Is Likely a Fit If You…

- You want part-time clinical hours with a predictable weekly rhythm.
- You genuinely enjoy family work and engaging parents and caregivers, not just individual sessions.
- You would rather be part of a treatment team than practice in isolation.
- You are organized about documentation and follow-through.
- You bring a positive, professional tone to a small team.

This Role May Not Be a Fit If You…

- You do not hold one of the listed Arizona behavioral health licenses (LMFT, LAMFT, LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LAC).
- You are looking for full-time hours.
- You cannot commit to being in Scottsdale on Wednesday mornings.
- You need a schedule that shifts from week to week.
- You prefer individual-only work with little family involvement.

Why Join Us:

We are a behavioral health practice that takes family work seriously, and we want a therapist who feels the same way. The schedule here is built to be sustainable: part-time hours you help set, a consistent week, and a clinical team that meets every Wednesday to think through cases together instead of leaving clinicians to sort it out alone.

If you are licensed in Arizona, you love family therapy, and a steady 15-20 hour week is what you are looking for, we would like to hear from you. Please apply with your most updated resume - we look forward to meeting you.
