About this role

Job Description

BIOVECTRA joined Agilent in 2024 and is part of Agilent’s Advanced Manufacturing Partnerships Division (AMPD), which also contains Agilent’s Nucleic Acid Solutions Division. With BIOVECTRA, Agilent aims to align advanced manufacturing capabilities, expertise, and resources to foster greater innovation and operational excellence. Within AMPD, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals committed to revolutionizing advanced manufacturing, making a significant impact in the industry and, most importantly, improving patient care through the manufacture of better therapeutics.

As Master Scheduler, you will own the Master Schedule for the Complex Chemistry business unit, ensuring ATD Canada meets revenue targets and client delivery milestones. You will use plant scheduling tools to avoid capacity conflicts, reduce schedule disruptions and delays, and give other departments (QC/QA, Maintenance, etc.) formal look-ahead information.

- Build and manage the Master Schedule for Complex Chemistry facilities, synchronizing labor, materials, equipment and timelines

- Incorporate budgeted work center capacity and cycle times in line with SLAs, with a manufacturing job creation window of at least 12 weeks

- Collaborate with PM, Manufacturing, QC, QA, SC, Facilities, Engineering and Maintenance to ensure resources are available and equipment calibration and maintenance are coordinated

- Identify capacity constraints and disruption risks early, and work with management to eliminate or mitigate lost time

- Lead schedule recovery after shutdowns, unplanned outages and quality disruptions, and contribute to root cause analysis, corrective action and continuous improvement

- Update and publish the Master Schedule daily, tracking actual vs. planned execution, and report monthly on KPIs (schedule execution to plan, productivity, capacity utilization, output, variance to budget and projected revenue forecast) via the Master Schedule dashboard
- Experience managing aggressive timelines and deliver results on time
- Participate in recurring management meetings (daily huddle, operations review, JPT) and continuously improve scheduling processes, tools and methodologies

- Comply with QMS requirements (current training, MOC participation) and the BIOVECTRA / ATD Canada Health and Safety Policy

- Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs and customer expectations
