Position Summary
Under the supervision of a supervisor or manager on duty, the Aircraft Hangar Wash Agent is responsible for cleaning/washing the exterior/interior of an aircraft.
Schedule will be 23:00-02:00 Sunday through Wednesday.
Essential Functions
- Uses approved cleaning chemicals and waxing agents, pressure washing equipment, dry wash equipment and buffing equipment to clean, wax and polish the exterior of an aircraft.
- Lifts and carries cleaning equipment and supplies to service the aircraft.
- Uses and works from Lift equipment to heights approximating 40 ft. above the ground to service aircraft.
- Loads supplies onto cabin service vehicles and returns unused supplies to designated areas.
- Ensures cabin service work areas and supply rooms are kept in an organized and neat manner.
- Checks inventory to ensure an adequate supply of items necessary to service the aircraft is on hand at all times.
- Arrives at work on time and in assigned post to ensure prompt servicing of the aircraft.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
