role

About the Opportunity:

The Account Manager is accountable for growing profitability across an assigned book of consulting accounts at ROI Rocket, a MarketOnce company. The role owns day-to-day client relationships, business development, and commercial delivery, and serves as the primary point of contact for client teams and research staff. The Account Manager turns fast-moving requests into accurate bids and coordinates with Project Delivery, Platform, and Panel teams to deliver B2B/B2C survey, interview, and expert recruitment projects on time and on spec. The role also expands each account through proactive, relationship-first outreach.

What You'll Do:

- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for an assigned book of consulting firm accounts, building trusted relationships with client service teams, research and knowledge staff, and procurement contacts
- Own profit growth for assigned accounts, delivering against annual targets and maintaining an account plan for  each client that identifies where and how to expand
- Prepare fast, accurate bids and proposals for B2B/B2C survey, qualitative interview, and expert recruitment  requests, often within same-day turnaround windows, balancing feasibility, margin, and client timelines
- Partner with Project Delivery, Platform, Panel, external vendors, and other stakeholders as necessary to confirm  feasibility, set clear client expectations, and keep projects on time, on spec, and on budget
- Drive account expansion through relationship-first outreach by phone, video, email, and in-person to new and existing contacts, converting broader coverage across offices, practices, and geographies into new bidders and repeat business
- Lead regular client check-ins and post-project debriefs to gather feedback, resolve issues, and convert insights into follow-on work
- Own account performance against targets for bid volume, unique bidders, win rate, average project value, sample margin, and total account revenue; diagnose shortfalls, take action to close gaps, and maintain accurate, up-to-date client contact records
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, and work with Accounts Receivable to resolve billing questions with client finance and procurement teams
- Build working knowledge of each client firm's structure, practice areas, and buying process, and share account insights with the broader team
- Lead RFP responses and vendor onboarding for assigned accounts, partnering with division and organizational  leadership on broader strategic initiatives

What You Bring:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in account management, client services, or project management, ideally in market  research, expert networks, or strategic management consulting
- Demonstrated track record of growing account revenue or meeting sales targets in a client-facing role
- Experience supporting management consulting, private equity, or other professional services clients strongly  preferred
- Working knowledge of B2B/B2C research methods (quantitative surveys, qualitative interviews, expert calls) and sample or recruitment feasibility
- Ability to build accurate cost and feasibility estimates quickly under tight deadlines
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent bids, projects, and stakeholders with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage consultants and senior client stakeholders as a peer
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with pipeline, pricing, and revenue data in Excel
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office

What We Offer:

- Competitive base salary: $100,000-$120,000/year + variable compensation
- Flexible vacation policy – take the time you need to recharge
- Comprehensive health, vision & dental insurance
- 401k with company contribution
- Beautiful downtown Denver office with company-paid commuter benefits (parking or RTD EcoPass)
- Opportunity for career progression with plenty of room for personal growth

What to Expect:

- 1st Round: 30-45 minute interview with the Recruiter
- 2nd Round: 45-minute interview with the Hiring Manager
- 3rd Round: Pre-interview assessment and 2 hours of onsite interviews with the Hiring Team
