What your day-to-day will look like:

- Follow all available maintenance instructions to keep every train in compliance and meeting high-quality standards.
- Document every defect, task, and incident in the CMMS so issues are tracked, resolved, and closed out with a complete record.
- Perform body, welding, and paint repairs on locomotives, coaches, and train sets to return equipment to service looking sharp and running strong.
- Keep your workstation and work areas clean and debris-free for a safer, more efficient workspace.
- Represent Siemens Mobility and build strong working relationships with our customer, creating trust and lasting partnerships.
- Comply with all Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) safety rules, laws, and regulations to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
- Partner with leadership on site issues, systems, and facility operations to solve problems quickly and keep operations running smoothly.
- Willing to perform other functions as needed, including forklift operation and daily cleaning, to keep the team and the site moving forward.

Purpose is the reason a company exists. It's not about making money or selling products - it's the deeper "why" behind everything we do. It answers the question: What problem are we solving? What positive change are we creating?

For Siemens, our purpose has been clear for over 175 years: We create technology to transform the everyday, for everyone.

The world needs technologies that work. Technologies that matter. Technologies that solve today's challenges and help shape a better tomorrow. And that's exactly what we build. By bringing together the real world (factories, buildings, power grids, trains) with the digital world (software, data, AI, digital twins), we help our customers become more competitive, resilient, and sustainable.
