About this role
monday.com is the AI work platform powering the most ambitious teams. 250,000+ customers across departments use us to bring people, workflows, and AI agents together on one flexible platform where AI doesn't just assist, it executes. We move fast, build things that matter, and foster an ownership-driven culture where you're empowered to shape how organizations work and outpace their competition.
Our team is growing and we are looking for a Partner Deployment Strategist to join our Professional Services team! In this role, you will own a portfolio of certified delivery partners who implement the monday.com AI work platform for our customers, and the professional services and managed services engagements running inside it. You will build the relationships that make those partners successful, hold their delivery to a high standard, and stay accountable for the AI value customers realize from their work. You will support the sale of services routed to the channel, drive the retention of your partners' managed services engagements, and act as the primary connection between monday.com and the organizations delivering at scale on our behalf.
Please note that this is a hybrid position with three days/week in our New York City office.
About The Role
- Own a portfolio of delivery partners and the professional services and managed services engagements running inside it, ensuring successful outcomes through high value, on-time, and on-budget delivery.
- Drive AI value realization across your portfolio, tracking realized consumption against the plan agreed at sale and working with partner delivery teams where adoption gaps or unbuilt workflows hold it back.
- Stay accountable for the retention of the ongoing services your partners deliver, monitoring engagement health and intervening with the partner or the customer where value is going unrealized.
- Partner with Account Owners to support the sale of services routed to the partner channel, matching scope to a partner with the right capability and capacity to deliver it.
- Ensure partners adopt monday.com best practices and delivery methodologies within their engagements, using performance data to help them meet the same standard as work delivered internally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with monday.com delivery partners to support successful project outcomes and the growth of the partner service practices.
- Carry platform and roadmap context into your partners' practices, and bring the feedback their practice leads and delivery teams surface in the field back to Product.
- Manage the operational machinery behind partner-delivered work, covering the staffing and procurement queue, partner capacity, assignment, and billing.
- Identify the next outcome opportunity inside your portfolio and drive the additional services needed to deliver it, surfacing expansion and risk signals to the Account Owner.
- Serve as the interface between internal monday.com stakeholders and your delivery partners, reporting portfolio status, risk, and progress, and acting as the primary escalation point for partners and their customers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional services experience in partner delivery management, engagement management, or technical program management in enterprise software, with significant time working alongside the partners who deliver for customers.
- Experience delivering complex professional services solutions with high quality, both internally and externally via partners, running delivery governance across a portfolio of concurrent engagements.
- Demonstrated experience in partnerships and working with service partners or systems integrators, leading delivery teams through influence and holding external organizations to a high standard of delivery and operations.
- Hands-on experience with Generative and Agentic AI tools, and a strong understanding of how AI changes the way work gets done.
- Experience with professional services project scoping and estimations, sufficient to support the sale of services routed to the partner channel.
- Experience with consumption-based or usage-based commercial models and with ongoing services carrying recurring revenue, delivering customer outcomes rather than labor.
- Technical fluency sufficient to be credible in an architecture conversation and to recognize when an engagement needs deeper expertise: how enterprise systems exchange data, and when a goal calls for software to be built rather than configured.
- Strong customer-facing and presentation skills, able to establish credibility with partner leadership and customer executives, articulate technical topics to a non-technical audience, and frame business outcomes for a technical one.
- Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies across a changing set of partners, customers, and industries.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, comfortable holding a standard across a high volume of concurrent engagements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, customer-centric mentality, and can-do approach, working well under pressure and maintaining a high sense of ownership.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- BA or BS degree preferred.
