About this role

C5ISR Sensor SME
The Opportunity:

As a C5ISR Sensor Subject Matter Expert, you understand how advanced sensors, networks, platforms, and command-and-control systems work together to create decision advantage. That expertise is critical to evaluating complex sensor capabilities, identifying integration risks, and delivering reliable information to operators in contested environments. We’re looking for a technical expert who can apply deep knowledge of C5ISR sensor systems to help a Department of Defense client improve situational awareness, interoperability, and mission effectiveness.

At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering and operational expertise to transform the way sensor data is collected, integrated, analyzed, and shared across the battlespace. Our team supports the assessment, development, integration, testing, and fielding of advanced C5ISR capabilities. That’s why we need a C5ISR Sensor SME with a strong background in sensor technologies, systems engineering, and tactical data integration to help us evaluate architectures, define technical requirements, and deliver interoperable solutions for mission-critical operations.

On our team, you’ll analyze sensor performance, interfaces, data flows, and operational requirements across complex systems of systems. You’ll assess technologies such as radar, electro-optical and infrared sensors, electronic warfare systems, signals intelligence capabilities, and other intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance platforms. You’ll work with engineers, operators, acquisition professionals, and government stakeholders to identify capability gaps, develop integration strategies, evaluate technical alternatives, and support verification and validation activities.

You’ll directly impact national defense missions by helping ensure that sensor information is accurate, timely, secure, and available to the operators and decision-makers who need it. You’ll translate operational needs into actionable technical requirements, assess system performance against mission objectives, and communicate complex findings to both technical and nontechnical audiences. We’ll also look to you to share your C5ISR expertise through technical leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and the mentoring of junior team members.

This is an opportunity to apply your experience with sensor systems and C5ISR architectures while expanding your expertise in areas such as multi-domain operations, sensor fusion, open systems architectures, digital engineering, modeling and simulation, and artificial intelligence-enabled analytics. Take on exciting challenges with us as we improve sensor integration, command-and-control capabilities, and decision advantage for the warfighter.

Join us. The world can’t wait.
