About this role
Loaders are required to load and unload finished good product in and out of delivery trailers. They will be required to stage material in preparation for loading, scan the appropriate product onto the correct truck and safely secure the product onto the trailer or delivery vehicle. This position is within a fast-paced warehouse environment. May perform a variety of other tasks relating to shipment of products.
TECHNICAL SKILLS OR CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Working knowledge and use of barcode scanners and systems
- Knowledge of operations/warehouse work instructions, safety, and housekeeping procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work overtime to accommodate outbound shipping schedules and workloads
- Be present at work during scheduled working hours and as needed in the job position
- Completed Training Matrix with signed approvals

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to bend, lift, squat, twist, stand and move repetitively for 8-12 hours a day.
- Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms
- Lifting, moving, and transporting up to 70 pounds.
- Work in various adverse conditions such as temperature to complete work assignments
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- PPE Required: Safety Glasses and Hearing Protection on manufacturing floor
