Job Details:

Position Summary

Build a brand from the ground up. As Director, Brand, you will stand up a emerging Hispanic brand for Tyson, set its foundation, and then build it out and scale it. You will own the brand's strategy, pricing, trade and marketing direction and its financial performance, work closely with sales and operations teams, and build the team to carry the work forward.

About the team

You will join a team that invests in people and values servant leadership in Poultry and Prepared Foods. We work as a team: pricing is shaped together, with the Brand holding the final call, and alignment across functions is a shared effort. The work spans multiple sales teams and carries some ambiguity. We are AI-forward, and we train our people to get the best from AI tools, including Claude. The brand was created at the request of a major retail customer and is growing, with further customer expansion planned.

What you'll drive

In your first six months: set the foundation

- Establish the fundamentals of the brand.

- Put the innovation platform and pipeline in place.

- Build the initial team, starting with a manager and an innovation role.

Beyond the foundation: build out and scale

- Partner with operations to build and scale the brand, so work runs smoothly across functions and alongside Tyson's other brands.

- Shape and expand the team as the brand grows.

- Scale the brand for planned customer expansion, and keep improving it, including product quality to the case-ready standard.

Throughout

- Own P&L performance and direct corrective actions to achieve AOP targets.

- Set trade marketing and pricing strategies that deliver volume growth and margin, and oversee trade spend effectiveness.

- Govern MAP and consumer marketing budgets, and work with retail brand partners to protect brand integrity and strengthen in-market execution.

- Serve as a senior integrator across functions, aligning commercial strategy with operational feasibility and financial targets.

What you'll offer

- Portfolio-level P&L and financial leadership expertise

- Advanced pricing strategy, trade management, and margin optimization capabilities

- Strong strategic planning and brand management skills

- Deep understanding of supply chain economics, inventory dynamics, and capital investment evaluation

- Proven people leadership and change management skills

- Communicates complex strategic, financial, and operational concepts clearly to executive and board-level audiences as appropriate.

- Influences outcomes across the enterprise without direct operational authority.

- Embraces AI and innovation, and is eager to find new ways of working that help people and the brand grow.

- Strong command of pricing, trade management, and portfolio analytics systems

- Ability to leverage business intelligence tools to drive strategic decision-making
