The role
As a Senior Project / Program Manager, Client Engagement , you will lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from planning through delivery. You will take end-to-end ownership of critical projects and multi-stream programs, bringing together business, product, engineering, IT, data, vendors, and implementation partners to ensure teams remain aligned and focused on outcomes.
You will also support portfolio management across the Client Engagement domain, providing leadership with a clear view of priorities, progress, dependencies, risks, capacity, and business value. Working within an Agile delivery environment, you will combine strong project governance with the flexibility needed to support Scrum teams and scaled Agile practices.
This role requires a proactive leader who is comfortable taking ownership, navigating technical conversations, anticipating risks, and communicating clearly with senior stakeholders. You do not need to be a developer, but you should understand how modern software platforms are built, integrated, released, and operated.
Role responsibilities
- Own complex, business-critical projects and programs from initiation through completion, defining scope, objectives, milestones, dependencies, resourcing, and success criteria.
- Lead multi-stream programs involving several teams and workstreams, managing sequencing, dependencies, integration points, and delivery timelines.
- Proactively drive initiatives forward, remove blockers, follow up with stakeholders, and ensure teams remain aligned around priorities and decisions.
- Identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, establishing clear ownership and escalating issues appropriately.
- Coordinate across business, product, engineering, IT, data, vendors, and system integrators.
- Work effectively within Agile delivery environments, including Scrum, Agile at Scale, and PI Planning, while maintaining appropriate project governance.
- Maintain a consolidated view of the Client Engagement portfolio, including project status, priorities, capacity, dependencies, risks, and value delivered.
- Prepare and facilitate portfolio reviews with domain leadership and provide clear executive-level reporting on progress, decisions, risks, and escalations.
- Partner effectively with Agile Coaches while maintaining clear accountability for project and program management.
- Apply established PMO methodologies, playbooks, and best practices across projects and programs.
- Develop and improve project and portfolio management tools, templates, dashboards, reporting, and governance artifacts.
- Contribute lessons learned and best practices to the broader project management community.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

- Proven ability to take end-to-end ownership of large projects and multi-stream programs and drive them through successful delivery.
- Strong technical understanding of how software is developed, integrated, tested, released, and operated, with the ability to follow technical discussions, challenge assumptions, and anticipate delivery risks.
- Experience delivering initiatives involving CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, including familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem and configuration versus customization considerations.
- Experience working with mobile applications, ideally business-critical or internally distributed applications.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, middleware, system integrations, SaaS platforms, data flows, and dependency management.
- Understanding of software development practices including SDLC, backlog management, environments, CI/CD, testing, QA, and production releases.
- Practical experience working within Agile environments, including Scrum, SAFe or comparable scaled frameworks, and PI Planning.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or comparable project, portfolio, reporting, and collaboration tools.
- Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, governance, and executive-level reporting.
- Previous exposure to portfolio management, including portfolio tracking and leadership reviews.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear business implications for senior stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills, structured problem solving, and the ability to lead through influence across teams without direct reporting relationships.
- Full professional fluency in English.
