POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient processes, high productivity, and compliance with safety and organizational standards. This role is responsible for managing warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the timely receipt and dispatch of goods.

Requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, and shipping.

2. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations and company policies.

3. Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.

4. Schedule and oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and facility cleanliness.

5. Train, coach, and evaluate team performance; support employee development and enforce disciplinary procedures as necessary.

6. Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.

7. Prepare reports on productivity, inventory levels, and operational efficiency.

8. Implement process improvements to optimize warehouse performance.

9. Coordinate with logistics companies and carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.

10. Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

11. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.

12. Comply with company policies and legal regulations regarding warehouse operations.

13. Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks.

14. Perform other related duties as needed.

EDUCATION / TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

2. 3+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

3. Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

4. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

5. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

6. Forklift certification (preferred or required depending on site).

7. Highly desirable: previous warehouse experience, OSHA certifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

1. Fluent in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills: clear written and verbal communication with demonstrated understanding of communication methods and styles; articulate clearly and concisely in a professional and hospitable manner without jargon or complicated language. Highly desirable: fluency in second language.

2. Excellent organizational and time management skills: adhere to deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances; handle high volume while maintaining excellent attention to detail; monitor own work and self-edit.

3. Ability to problem solve; analyse information and apply expertise and provide solutions.

4. Able to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize work accordingly. Self-starter with desire to show ownership and commitment to role.

5. Proficiency with computer software, aptitude for learning new programs and commitment to data integrity.

WORKING CONDITIONS

1. Warehouse environment: exposure to heavy machinery, working closely with others in an open environment, and heavy lifting.

2. The role is primarily based in a warehouse environment with frequent exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels.

3. Requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

4. Use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks may be necessary.

5. May involve working at heights or in confined spaces occasionally.

6. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required (e.g., safety shoes, high-visibility vests).

7. Work hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime during peak operational periods.

8. May need to travel to Las Vegas warehouse as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Visual acuity: ability to view computer screen for partial shift, approximately four hours

2. Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 100 lbs).

3. Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

4. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, including varying temperatures and noise levels.

5. Verbal Communications (English) with our Operations department and management as needed.

6. Walking (90% of the day)

7. Forklift Operations or other machinery as needed.
