Talent Acquisition Specialist

In this role, you will support our Talent Acquisition team by creating a positive and seamless hiring experience for new employees. Responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating onboarding activities, conducting health screenings, maintaining a safe and organized workspace, preparing new hire documentation, and providing exceptional communication throughout the hiring process. You will play a key role in ensuring each employee's first day is welcoming, efficient, and successful.

Required skills and qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to occasionally travel (EX: job fairs, site visits, training, etc.)
- Must be comfortable conducting health screens and following HIPPA guidelines.
- Must be comfortable working with medical PPE and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to create/maintain rapport with hires and Zachry team members.
- Adaptability and flexibility to accommodate the diverse needs and backgrounds of new employees.
- Ability to meet deadlines and expectations under high pressure situations.

Preferred skills and qualifications

- Knowledge of employment laws/compliance and regulations related to onboarding and employee documentation.
- Prior experience in fields such as: Healthcare, Public Services, Administration, Human Resources, or Industrial Construction.
- PHR or SHRM-CP
- Current Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee.

Physical Demands

- Work will be in a general office environment with occasional work in an industrial location.
- Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and occasional lifting.
- May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
