About the Role
This is a hands-on operations role for someone who likes variety and ownership. You’ll manage your own portfolio of customer cases, shipments, and product families, keep our website and Amazon storefront running smoothly, and turn inventory data into clear recommendations. You’ll be trusted to work through everyday challenges independently and to know when something needs to go up the chain.
What You’ll Do
- Take care of our customers. Own your customer cases from start to finish, including investigations with warehouses, carriers, Amazon, and fulfillment partners, and apply policy exceptions within your approved authority.
- Keep freight moving. Coordinate routine and moderately complex inbound shipments, checking commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, quantities, and delivery schedules.
- Work with our partners. Partner with freight forwarders, customs brokers, vendors, and warehouses, and help resolve freight claims and shipment discrepancies.
- Own your products online. Maintain an assigned set of product families across our website and Amazon, including listings, FBA inventory, stranded inventory, suppressions, and catalog issues.
- Launch new products. Execute product launches and build out website collections, promotions, bundles, and landing pages.
- Stay ahead of inventory. Monitor stock levels, prepare monthly forecast recommendations, and report on weeks of supply, sell-through, and inventory risk.
- Shape buying decisions. Recommend reorders and inventory transfers, and support conversations on order quantities and vendor pricing.
- Power our events. Coordinate event product assortments, inventory tracking, customer service prep, and post-event reporting.
The pace: This role moves quickly. In a typical month you might handle a few hundred customer cases, track a dozen or more active shipments, look after dozens of product families, and support several product launches, with one or more larger events each quarter.
What You Bring
- 2 to 4 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace, logistics, or customer service operations.
- Working proficiency with Shopify (or a comparable direct-to-consumer platform) and Amazon Seller Central.
- Familiarity with import documentation and freight coordination.
- Solid spreadsheet and reporting skills.
- The ability to juggle competing priorities across several workstreams without dropping the ball.
Strongly preferred: Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written.
What Success Looks Like
- You own and resolve everyday operational problems on your own.
- Your forecasts and inventory insights help the team make better buying decisions.
- Your products and sales channels are reliably well managed.
- Launches go live on time and listings stay accurate.
- Customers hear back from you promptly, wi
