About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Facilities Cleaning & Maintenance Specialist to support the daily upkeep of a residential building in Stamford, CT. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments. Immediate need. Qualified candidates can start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

- Perform general janitorial and custodial duties throughout the property
- Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, lobbies, stairwells, and restrooms
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces
- Remove trash and recycling from designated areas
- Inspect facilities for cleanliness and safety concerns
- Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed
- Perform basic building maintenance tasks and report repair needs
- Assist with seasonal and special cleaning projects
- Maintain a professional and courteous presence with residents and visitors

Qualifications

- Previous janitorial, housekeeping, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities
- Dependable with strong attention to detail
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Reliable transportation to Stamford, CT

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
