Primary Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, oversight, and direction for all health and wellness programs within the community.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Oversee resident assessments, care planning, medication management, and clinical documentation.
- Recruit, coach, train, and develop nursing and caregiving team members.
- Partner with physicians, hospitals, home health agencies, hospice providers, residents, and families to coordinate quality care.
- Foster strong relationships with healthcare professionals and community partners.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, compassion, and resident-centered care.
- Serve as a key member of the community leadership team.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Nurse license in good standing.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience in senior living, assisted living, geriatric care, home health, long-term care, or a related setting.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of state regulations, clinical compliance, and resident care standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred
- Previous experience as a Wellness Director, Director of Nursing (DON), Resident Care Director, or Health Services Director.
- Experience working in Assisted Living or Senior Living communities.
- Demonstrated success leading clinical teams and driving quality outcomes.
