About this role
1. Ensure the security of manpower and materials within the unit and prevent loss of company property due to theft, pilferage, misuse, etc.
2. Ensure fire safety and conduct regular training programmes for security personnel.
3. Manage inbound and outbound traffic from the plant, ensuring adherence to prescribed safety standards.
4. Ensure compliance with safety norms, procedures and departmental guidelines as per company policies.
5. Liaise with Police and local authorities for maintaining cordial relations and ensuring smooth plant operations.
6. Ensure effective and timely management of all administrative activities of the unit in compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
7. Develop and maintain an effective intelligence network across peripheral villages and surrounding areas to obtain prior information and proactively address potential security concerns.
