Utility Technician (Seasonal) - Summit Station, Greenland

The Role
Keep a remote Arctic research station running. You'll maintain core utilities (power, heat, water, waste), support facilities, and pitch in across camp operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform facilities and utilities maintenance; document hours, tasks, and materials

- Assist with camp support (equipment operation, construction, snow/earth work, cooking as needed)

- Lead helpers occasionally; uphold HSE practices and daily safety routines

Qualifications

- 4+ years documented facility utilities maintenance experience

- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and methods

- Familiarity with HSE programs and Microsoft Office

- U.S. passport

- Preferred: EPA 608, NATE/NITC/HVAC Excellence; ASME BPVC exposure; OSHA training; commercial/industrial maintenance; low-voltage controls/wiring; remote/cold-weather experience

Schedule & Pay

- Deployment is from February to March, April to June, June to August, August to September

- Typically 9 hrs/day, 6 days/week (Sundays off; extra hours as needed)

- $1,900-$2,364 per week

- Health & Welfare: $4.22/hour for the first 40 hours each week (included in weekly rate)
