Tennis Maintenance Person
Under the supervision of the Tennis Professional staff, the Outside Tennis Shop Attendant will be responsible for the maintaining of the practice areas.
Reports to: Tennis Director
Supervises: None
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age and possess, at a minimum, a learners permit.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of Tennis and Tennis course operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with members, guests, and staff members.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry Tennis bags, equipment, and range balls.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and potentially irregular hours.
Essential Functions
- Keep the practice facilities tidy and organized.
- Aid with rental racquets and other equipment as needed.
- Monitor court activity and communicate any concerns to the tennis management.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall experience for tennis players and guests.
- Address any issues or complaints courteously and professionally, seeking resolution where possible.
- Coordinate with other staff members, including the tennis pro shop attendants, and tennis professionals.
- Maintain clay courts, tennis courts in tennis bubble, keep locker rooms at the tennis pavilion cleaned and stocked with paper towels, bath towels, wash cloths, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and mouth wash on a daily basis.

- Relay important information about course conditions, upcoming events, and tennis feedback.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Lift, push, pull, carry up to 50lbs.
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Repetitive motion.
- Work in all weather environments
