QS Engineer

- Prepare Unit Price Analysis (AHS/AHSP), Quantity Take-offs, and cost reports, while updating cash flows to ensure strict budget control.
- Manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ), review Variation Orders (VO)/addendums, and verify progress claims for contractor billing
- Maintain a structured filing system for contracts, drawings, RFIs, MOMs, approvals, and official project correspondence.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, site, finance, legal) to track project schedules and follow up on critical action items.
- Analyze project data to recommend value engineering and cost-saving opportunities to management.
- Support the tender process, evaluate contractor quotations (technical & commercial), and conduct price negotiations to meet budget targets.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Min. 5 years of experience in Quantity Survey, Cost Control, Tender, and Project Administration.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, AHS/AHSP, tendering processes, contractor negotiation, contract administration, progress billing, VO/addendum, and project cost control.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and construction specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and AutoCAD; knowledge of QS software such as Cubicost is an advantage.
- Excellent accuracy in managing project costs and administrative documentation.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
