At the Craven County Jail , you'll work alongside a dedicated healthcare team providing essential medical care to patients while enjoying a consistent 35-hour-per-week schedule .
What You'll Do
- Provide nursing care and treatment to patients within the facility
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Perform assessments and respond to patient healthcare needs
- Monitor and document patient conditions and care
- Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Promote a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment
- Follow all facility and company policies and procedures
Qualifications
What You Bring
- Current LPN license in the state of North Carolina
- Current CPR certification
- Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while being part of a team
- Commitment to providing compassionate, professional patient care
