WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE AND DRIVER

Peter Glenn Ski and Sports has an outstanding opportunity for a hard-working warehouse associate and driver.

A successful candidate will: be organized, detail-oriented and accurate, punctual, and demonstrate excellent attendance.

We are coming into our busy season, so we are looking for a team player who is ready to work hard. Applicant needs previous driving experience. As well as, experience in shipping and receiving department. This person will be working both as a receiver, shipper and a route driver. We are not looking for someone that is solely a driver.

We’ve grown over the past few years and are looking for someone who can help us continue our success.

Job Responsibilities:

- Make all deliveries to local stores several times a week

- Accurately record each item transported and file necessary paperwork

- Keep truck maintenance up to date; truck should be checked before starting the route

- Keep truck clean

- On days not driving, help with other misc. warehouse type duties as assigned by supervisor

- Assist with manual tasks such as moving desks, cleaning warehouse, etc.

- During peak business times and for events, flexible hours will be necessary

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements:

- Must have clean driving record (minor traffic violations may be considered)

- Must have valid Florida license (CMV not required)

- Must be able to pass criminal background check

- Previous driving and warehousing experience

- This job requires walking, standing, bending, lifting, squatting, pushing, kneeling, reaching, carrying, climbing, able to lift up to 50 lbs., and other physical demands

- Heavy lifting is required

- Due to regularly scheduled deliveries, you must be committed to excellent attendance

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Communicate effectively in verbal and written English, second language is a plus.

- Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task

- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
