GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a mid-level Superintendent role designated for individuals with experience running jobs independently but not yet responsible for mentoring other Superintendents or managing multiple projects concurrently

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Project Leadership & Execution

- Oversee all field operations from mobilization through close-out, ensuring progress aligns with schedule, budget, and quality goals.

- Conduct daily site walks to verify production, safety compliance, and quality control.

- Manage site logistics, labor, equipment, and subcontractors for optimal workflow.

- Coordinate with the Project Manager to forecast needs, monitor costs, and track milestones.

Safety & Quality Assurance

- Enforce Stancils safety program and OSHA standards, conducting daily and weekly safety meetings.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free site that reflects company professionalism.

- Proactively identify and resolve potential safety or quality issues, escalating concerns with recommended solutions to the Director of Operations and Project Manager.

- Ensure all work meets or exceeds Stancils craftsmanship standards and project specifications.

Communication & Close-Out

- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for builders, clients, and field representatives.

- Lead weekly coordination meetings to address trade sequencing, scheduling conflicts, and scope alignment.

- Document daily reports, safety toolbox talks, and site photos.

- Oversee project close-out activities including inspections, punch lists, and trade partner sign-offs.

- Foster strong collaboration among office staff, field teams, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

- Minimum 3 years of construction site supervision; experience on large commercial or multi-family projects preferred.

- Strong technical knowledge of paint and drywall trades.

- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or equivalent field experience.

- Proficient in Procore and Bluebeam.

- OSHA-certified with a proactive, safety-first mindset.

- Valid drivers license and insurable under company policy.

- Willingness to travel across the Carolinas as needed.

- Deliver projects on time and within budget while meeting quality and client satisfaction benchmarks.
