About this role

As a Leasing Associate , you will play a crucial role at GHP. You will be the face of the company and responsible for making an extraordinary long-lasting first impression at our brand-new Community. It is you who will be the first contact for our prospective residents and it is you who will be the driving force in helping them find the best place to call home. By combining your passion, knowledge and outstanding customer service skills, you will build connections and show our prospective residents why they should select GHP as their new home.

We are looking for an outgoing and friendly leasing professional with an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for lease-ups!

REPORTS TO : Leasing Manager

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

1. Customer Experience:
Demonstrates service excellence by upholding the GHP core values of Care, Excellence, Ownership, and Integrity.
Cultivates personal relationships with prospective clients and provides a memorable leasing experience.
Creates a sense of community and an outstanding living experience for new residents.
Drives online reputation results including Yelp, Google and NPS surveys.

2. Sales and Marketing:
Meets occupancy goals and demonstrates consistently strong closing ratio.
Creates daily outreach goals and manages a pipeline of prospective clients.
Manages CRM queue (Customer Relationship Management system) and ensures that all leads receive a personalized follow-up.
Creates awareness of the community by managing day-to-day creative campaigns including TikTok, Instagram, etc.
Proactively acquires knowledge about local competitors, current offerings, and the residential market as a whole.
Takes ownership to drive their own business and proactively proposes process improvement initiatives to the community and corporate stakeholders (e.g., GHP Marketing team).

3. Operations:
Maintains a fundamental working knowledge of all lease documentation, policies and procedures (e.g. Fair Housing guidelines, renters insurance policy, lease forms and agreements, etc.).
Effectively utilizes current software (Yardi, CRM, etc.) and quickly adapts to newly implemented platforms.

Qualifications

YOU HAVE:
Desire to deliver an exceptional resident and colleague experience in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Personable, positive, team-oriented mindset
Ability to multitask, work independently, manage competing requests and priorities
High school diploma or equivalent experience
2-5 years' practical experience in sales or customer relations
Knowledge of Fair Housing preferred
Lease-up experience is a plus
General computer skills required
Must pass background and drug test screening

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Frequently move/traverse, ascend/descend stairs in/around apartment homes and community
Constantly positions self to bend, stoop, reach, lift
Occasionally lift/move/carry up to 25lbs with/without assistance
Frequently lift/move/carry 5lbs
Constantly communicate, converse and exchange information with coworkers, vendors, residents and visitors
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
Ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
Constantly operates computer, 10-key and other office productivity machinery.
Constantly works in low to moderate noise levels
Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions
