OPEN JOB: Pharmacist In Charge (bilingual Spanish/English) Miami FL to $150,000
LOCATION: Miami, Florida
BASE SALARY: $140,000 to $150,000
WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday - normally between 8:30AM-5:00PM
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Candidates should have min. 3 years Pharmacy Manager experience.
- Candidate MUST be fluently bilingual (Spanish / English)
- Candidate should have previous retail pharmacy experience to be considered.
- Candidate MUST have an active Pharmacist License within the state of Florida
Essential Job Functions:
- Review and execute providers prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality
- Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster
- Maintain full control over medication inventory, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration
- Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.
- Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient
- Maintain patient profiles and history of all activities regarding medications dispensed
- Keep abreast and stay current with HIPAA and Frauds Waste and Abuse credentialing
- Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures
- Responsible for ensuring that the Pharmacy and its employees are compliant with Federal, State and Local laws regulated
- Ensures that the Pharmacy and its employees are aware and compliant with local facilities policies
- Responsible for directing the daily work of Pharmacy Technicians, this includes providing input into performance evaluations and advising Senior Management of any behavioral and/or performance issues.
- Responsible for managing the Pharmacy Technicians schedules. This includes advising Senior Management of any request for leave of absences or medical accommodations.
REQUIRED:
- Candidates should have min. 3 years Pharmacy Manager experience.
