Warehouse Associate
Our client is looking for a warehouse associate to accurately receive, move, store, and warehouse raw materials and packaging supplies in a clean and sanitary manner according to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Compensation: $19/hour
Schedule : First shift 6:00 AM-3:00 PM/ Second shift 2:30 PM-11:30 PM
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Location : Carrollton
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Equipment Operation: Moving levers or controls to operate lifting devices such as forklifts, industrial trucks, and elevating platforms.
Inventory Management: Examining shipments and order contents, and comparing them with batch records, manifests, or invoices to verify accuracy.
Material Handling: Manually loading/unloading materials from pallets and transferring raw materials and packaging goods between buildings.
Technology & Tracking: Tracking the movement of materials using an RF scanner or computer data entry and preparing bills of lading and shipping orders.
### QUALIFICATIONS:
Certifications: Valid Forklift Certifications applicable to the equipment being operated.
Literacy & Math: Must be able to read and comprehend instructions and hold conversations in English. Requires accuracy with arithmetic, subtraction, and decimals.
Physical Demands: Must frequently lift 50 lbs. or move up to 100 lbs. using pallet jacks. The role frequently requires working elevated above the ground and standing, walking, pulling, and lifting.
Environment: Work is performed in an FDA-regulated manufacturing facility, meaning employees are regularly exposed to moving industrial trucks and airborne particles, including some allergens???????
