CLEARANCE / SUITABILITY REQUIREMENT: Public Trust - security clearance is required for this position.

Position Summary

Provides escalated (Tier 3) end-user and business-functional support for incidents beyond Tier 1/2 desktop support, along with core systems administration across Azure/Active Directory, network administration, software deployment, and workstation security for the EEOC enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and validate incidents requiring escalation beyond Tier 1/2; perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

- Determine whether incidents are isolated or system-wide; classify and document findings and resolutions in the service ticketing system.

- Support Microsoft 365 products (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, PowerApps), mobile device configuration/management, and application install/de-install.

- Maintain the operating system baseline (including Windows 11 migration), including testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

- Plan and execute agency-wide OS upgrades: application testing, configuration, administration, and deployment.

- Write and test install scripts; troubleshoot configuration settings; test and integrate applications.

- Support security operations with desktop virus scanning, remediation of infected systems, and data recovery/backup.

- Manage Active Directory/Office 365 user accounts, group policies, permissions, and access controls.

- Maintain and develop automation and CI/CD infrastructure across environments; write/build/deploy scripts using PowerShell and related tools.

- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity, and manage network security (protocols, firewalls, infrastructure).

- Install, update, and patch applications across the network; implement workstation hardening and security policies.

- Provide end-user troubleshooting for hardware, software, connectivity, and Microsoft applications/systems.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience may be substituted.

General Requirements (All Positions)

- Must currently hold, or be able to favorably pass, a full-field five-year employment background investigation (SF-85P) prior to performing work.

- This is a Public Trust suitability requirement (OPM standards, 5 CFR Part 736), not a national security clearance.

- Acceptable command of the English language.

- Subject to Contractor-funded training of at least 40 hours/year in core competencies.
