HSE Inspector | Maritime & Industrial Projects | Galați
For our client, a company active in the marine engineering and industrial sector , we are looking for an experienced HSE Inspector to join the QHSE team.
Location: Galați, Romania – 100% on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with HSE legislation and company procedures
- Conduct site inspections and identify workplace risks
- Prepare and update risk assessments, prevention plans, PTW and JSA documentation
- Deliver HSE induction and periodic training
- Investigate incidents, accidents and near-misses
- Monitor PPE, emergency equipment and evacuation procedures
- Support environmental compliance and waste management
- Participate in internal, client and external audits
- Monitor corrective actions and HSE performance indicators
Candidate Profile
- 7+ years of HSE experience in industrial, production, maritime or Oil & Gas environments
- Engineering degree
- Certified Risk Assessor
- Mandatory HSE/SSM training
- Good knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
- Experience with audits and integrated management systems
- PSI / fire-safety certification is an advantage or required where applicable
- Strong communication and organisational skills
