SALES REPRESENATIVE

JOB SUMMARY:

TH Plastics, Inc., a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities. This position will play a key role in expanding the company's customer base and developing long-term relationships with OEMs and Tier 1 manufacturers across targeted industries.

SCHEDULE:

- Monday – Friday

TRAVEL:

- This position requires regular travel to customer facilities, trade shows, industry events, and other business functions.

- Travel expectations will vary based on the assigned territory but may include overnight travel.

- Expect to spend significant time in the field meeting customers and prospects rather than performing the majority of their work from the office.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

- Minimum of 2-3 years of successful B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in manufacturing.

- Demonstrated experience developing new customers and generating new business.

- Strong understanding of consultative selling and relationship development.

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to travel regularly throughout an assigned territory.

- Proficiency with Google Suite and CRM systems.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Consistently generate new business opportunities.

- Maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects.

- Develop multiple relationships within strategic target accounts.

- Proactively prospect through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking and face-to-face meetings.

- Create customer relationships while formal RFQs are issued.

- Understand customer needs and position TH Plastics as a strategic manufacturing partner.

- Maintain accurate and current CRM information and follow-up activities.

- Collaborate effectively with engineering, estimating, quality, tooling and operations.

- Meet established activity, pipeline, new-customer and revenue objectives.

- Represent TH Plastics professionally and continuously expand the company's network and market presence.
