E-Commerce Fulfillment Associate

Job Summary

The E-Commerce Fulfillment Associate is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced 3PL environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly, on time, and in alignment with quality and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment

- Pick, pack, and prepare e-commerce orders according to established procedures
- Verify order accuracy including items, quantities, and customization requirements
- Prepare packages for shipment using appropriate materials and labeling

Quality Control

- Inspect products for defects, damages, or print errors prior to shipment
- Ensure packaging meets quality, branding, and carrier requirements
- Flag quality issues or discrepancies to leads or managers promptly

Inventory & Workflow Support

- Assist with inventory organization, restocking, and cycle counts as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Support workflow adjustments during peak volume periods

Systems & Documentation

- Accurately update order status and fulfillment actions in warehouse or order management systems
- Follow SOPs for fulfillment, safety, and quality control
- Report recurring issues or inefficiencies to leadership

Team Collaboration

- Work closely with fulfillment, print, logistics, and customer support teams
- Support cross-training and team coverage as business needs evolve

Qualifications

Required

- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production environment
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Preferred

- Previous experience in e-commerce, fulfillment, warehouse, or production roles
- Familiarity with shipping carriers and labeling systems
- Experience working with pick/pack or warehouse management systems

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40–50 pounds as needed
- Repetitive motions including lifting, packing, and scanning

Work Environment

- Warehouse or production environment
- May require overtime or flexible scheduling during peak seasons
