Job Details
Position : Warehouse Worker (Full-time) Pay: $16-$19 DOE Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Day shift) ; overtime required for physical counts or heavy workloads
Order Pulling & Inventory Control
Perform daily picking tasks with a scanner, pulling and inspecting parts for sales orders.
Distinguish component parts accurately by number, size, and material.
Use computers to locate, identify, and sort inventory items.
Follow daily inventory control procedures and participate in inventory counts.
Assist customers directly when parts need to be pulled for orders.
Shipping & Receiving
Receiving : Unload incoming shipments, inspect items for damage or shortages, verify against purchase orders, record incoming receipts, and move products to designated storage areas.
Shipping : Determine shipping methods using Pick Tickets, calculate shipping charges, and process packages using UPS World Ship and FedEx Power Ship.
Documentation : Enter and track shipping details in computer systems, attach labels/special instructions, and check shipping documents (invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin).
Equipment, Safety & Office Tasks
Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, box cutters, and staple guns.
Maintain clean work areas, perform basic equipment maintenance, and strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations.
Perform administrative tasks such as typing, filing receiving records, and operating office machinery.
Communicate with other departments to resolve job issues and work with management to learn best practices.
Qualifications & Physical Requirements
Skills : Good oral/written communication, legible handwriting, basic math for daily inventory counting, and computer proficiency.
Aptitude : Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization, follow written/oral/diagram instructions, and demonstrate product knowledge (evaluated via ongoing testing).
Physical Demands : Regularly stand, walk, and handle tools; occasionally kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment : Able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and work in an environment where heat levels occasionally exceed moderate temperature
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.00 - $19.00 Per Hour
