PrideStaff is seeking ORDER PICKERS for a distribution warehouse in the New Lenox, IL area.
You will be responsible for managing pick ticket orders, physically pulling inventory from the shelves, and ensuring accurate delivery of warehouse products. Other duties would include packing, shrink wrapping, palletizing, and quality/inventory verifications.
This is a 1st / mid-shift position 11:00am-7:00pm
$17-$19 per hour (DOE)
JOB DUTIES: Manage pick ticket orders via RF scanner Pull warehouse items from the shelves based on item number, quantity, and quality requirements Build shipping skids/ Small parcel packages to ship in a manner to assure no damage Follow special instructions included in order comments Ensures that orders are accurate, communicate any discrepancies Print Labels and paperwork to include with shipment Stage orders in designated areas per carrier Operate handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed Shrink wraps products to pallets, pack warehouse orders as necessary Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 6+ months of recent warehouse experience Must know how to use an RF scanner Experience handling forklifts, pallets jacks, and other warehouse equipment PREFERRED Attention to detail Ability to consistently lift and stand on feet for long periods of time Positive attitude, self-motivated, safety conscious Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment Good communication skills Ability to work well on a team while also being self-motivated and independent at times
