About this role

Award Homecare is seeking a compassionate and dependable female Live-In CHHA who can provide dedicated companionship and care for an elderly female client in New Jersey. This role requires a patient caregiver who is comfortable driving and able to assist with daily needs while fostering a supportive and friendly environment. Bilingual candidates fluent in both Spanish and English are preferred to enhance communication and comfort for the client.

Responsibilities

- Assist with light personal care and daily living activities as needed.

- Drive the client to appointments, errands, and social outings safely and punctually.

- Monitor clients well-being and report any changes in condition to family or supervising nurse.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for the client.

- Communicate effectively with the client in English and/or Spanish.

Requirements

- Must be a female caregiver.

- Minimum 5 years of caregiving experience required

- Provide companionship and emotional support

- Current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.

- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.

- Fluency in English; Spanish-English bilingual preferred.

- Demonstrated patience, compassion, and reliability.

- Ability to live in at the clients home.
