About this role
Award Homecare is seeking a compassionate and reliable male Live-In Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) who can provide excellent companionship and care for a male client. This role primarily involves offering companionship and support, ensuring the client's comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate must be comfortable driving the client in their own car and be willing to live-in at the client's residence.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and social interaction to the client.
- Assist with daily activities as needed, focusing on the clients comfort and safety.
- Drive the client safely to appointments, errands, and social events using your own vehicle.
- Monitor the client's health and report any changes or concerns to appropriate parties.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for the client.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Must be a male
- MUST have a current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
- Possess a valid drivers license and have your own reliable vehicle.
- Comfortable and experienced with driving clients in a personal vehicle.
- Ability to live-in at the clients home.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to pass background checks and meet all regulatory requirements.
