Pay Rate: $23.00 – $28.00 / hr (DOE)
Schedule: Mon–Thu 6:30 AM–3:30 PM | Fri 6:30 AM–11:30 AM (Half-day Fridays!)
About the Opportunity:
PrideStaff is hiring a hands-on Machine Lead / Senior Setup Operator for an established bindery manufacturer in Bond Hill specializing in high-quality custom bookbinding, specialty packaging, and custom presentation products.
This role focuses primarily on machine management over people management. You will serve as the technical expert responsible for keeping equipment calibrated, running smoothly, and meeting daily production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, calibrate, operate, and change over specialized bindery equipment, including high-speed folders, paper cutters, case makers, and ring/rivet presses.
Troubleshoot mechanical glitches and perform adjustments on the fly to minimize downtime.
Keep production lines fed, running efficiently, and on target.
Utilize calipers, rulers, and tape measures to ensure exact job specifications and high quality.
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience setting up and operating manufacturing or bindery machinery.
Proficiency in reading precision measurement tools (calipers, tape measures, rulers).
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and focused on operational continuous improvement.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $23.00 - $28.00
