About this role
This task includes a variety of activities to
include the following:
- Verifying materials against receiving documents
- Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damage
- Routing materials to prescribed storage locations
- Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods
- Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials
- Replenish pick areas identified by replenishment screens or reporting various requests for needed merchandise
- Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
- Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
- Maintaining quality service by following organizational standards
- Completing reports by entering required information into the inventory management system
- Operating a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles; utilizing a variety of hand tools as required
- Lifting up to 50lbs
- Operating a computer to process reports and forms, and maintaining inventory of warehouse materials as required
Requirement:
- 3 years' related experience
