Ready to suit up as a Security Guard in Barrie
We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to provide overnight security coverage at a secure data center facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining site security, monitoring access, and ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and critical infrastructure.
Position Title: Security Guard - Data Center
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $19.31 per hour
Shift Schedule:
- Overnights: Tuesday to Friday, 00:00 - 08:00 & Sunday: 20:00 - 08:00
To Qualify to be hired for this position, you MUST have lived in Canada for 5 consecutive years and be able to pass Reliability Clearance Status with the Government.

Responsibilities for Security Guard in Barrie
- Control and monitor access to the data center facility
- Conduct regular patrols of the site (interior and exterior)
- Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems
- Enforce site policies and security procedures
- Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
- Complete accurate incident reports and shift logs
- Communicate effectively with site management and emergency services as required
Qualifications for Security Guard in Barrie
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Must be eligible for Government of Canada Reliability Status clearance
- Must have been a Canadian resident for the past five (5) consecutive years
- Valid security guard license (as required by provincial regulations)
- A valid First Aid Certificate Required
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Ability to work overnight shifts and extended hours (12-hour Sunday shift)
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Ability to remain alert and focused in a high-security environment
