A healthcare facility in Fort Pierce is seeking a CT Scan Supervisor to lead and support its diagnostic imaging team. This facility provides a wide range of services, including cardiovascular care, surgical specialties, maternity services, oncology, emergency care, and both inpatient and outpatient procedures.

This role is responsible for the overall leadership, coordination, and performance of the CT department, ensuring high-quality imaging services and efficient daily operations in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Position Overview

The CT Scan Supervisor provides 24/7 oversight of CT operations, including staff performance, workflow coordination, and quality of imaging services. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends technical CT expertise with team management and operational accountability.

The supervisor plays a key role in maintaining service excellence by ensuring proper staffing levels, managing departmental resources, and supporting continuous improvement in imaging quality and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the CT department, including workflow, staffing, and patient scheduling
Ensure high-quality CT imaging services and adherence to clinical protocols
Supervise, train, and support CT technologists to maintain strong performance and consistency
Manage departmental resources, including staffing, supplies, and equipment
Monitor quality standards, safety practices, and regulatory compliance
Support performance improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and hospital leadership to support diagnostic needs
Address operational issues and ensure timely resolution of departmental challenges
Maintain accountability for 24/7 CT service coverage and operational readiness
Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on patient care and service excellence

Qualifications

Associate degree required
Current ARRT (R) certification required
Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
Minimum of 3 years of CT imaging experience required
At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in CT required
