At Intergroup, we’re the behind-the-scenes legends of infrastructure and industrial services — delivering across waste management, industrial services, coatings, and water infrastructure. You might have seen us around your neighbourhood.
We’re looking for experienced Casual Industrial Operators to join our team. We have a number of opportunities available for people who are hands-on, safety focused and happy to travel to different locations across New Zealand when required.
This is a great opportunity for experienced industrial operators who want to pick up additional work, work across different projects, and keep their skills sharp.
What you’ll be doing
- Operating high-pressure water jetting and vacuum loading equipment
- Carrying out industrial cleaning and maintenance services
- Working across a variety of industrial and commercial sites
- Setting up, operating and assisting with routine maintenance of equipment
- Working in confined spaces and at heights, following all required training and safety procedures
- Following site procedures and maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
- Travelling to different regions across New Zealand to support major projects when required
- Working as part of a team to get the job done safely, efficiently and to a high standard
What we’re looking for
You’ll be someone who is reliable, practical and comfortable working in demanding industrial environments.
You must have:
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, vacuum loading, water blasting or a similar industrial environment
- Current Confined Space Entry certification and practical experience working in confined spaces
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- The ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions and site procedures
- A willingness and ability to travel throughout New Zealand when required
- A practical, hands-on approach and a willingness to get stuck in
